Merthyr Lib Dems celebrated St David's Day in style

Merthyr Lib Dems hosted a buffet and discussion on environmental issues in Merthyr Tydfil town centre on March 1st to celebrate St David's Day.

Amy Kitcher, who chaired the discussion, said, "It was wonderful to celebrate St David's Day with so many friends and supporters. We had a lively discussion about sustainable energy in Wales as well as enjoying some fabulous traditional Welsh food."

Mick Bates AM, who founded and chairs the National Assembly Sustainable Energy Group, came down from Montgomeryshire to be the guest speaker at the event.

Mick said, "It was a pleasure to take part in such an interesting evening with people who genuinely have an interest in sustainable energy. Merthyr Lib Dems are growing in strength and numbers and I look forward to seeing them do great things locally. Amy Kitcher will be a fantastic local MP."
