Summary of Aim

To protect the right of local residents to breath clean air

Full Text of Petition

We, the undersigned, believe that our communities have the right to breathe clean air and as such, are deeply concerned about plans to build the UK's largest incinerator in Merthyr Tydfil.

We call upon the Welsh Assembly Government to protect local communities from the negative impacts of large scale incinerators by committing to allow only the very safest, greenest and most technologically advanced plants to be built. If necessary, we ask that WAG request more powers from Westminster to fulfil this commitment.
